H.E Abdulla Bin Khalifa Al-Attiya a well-known Political and influential figure in Qatar, is currently Minister of state. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors in both the Commercial Bank and Gulf Publishing & Printing Company. Additionally he holds the Position of Deputy Chairman of both Qatar Insurance company (QIC) and United Development Company (UDC).

In the Past H.E Abdulla Bin Khalifa Al-Attiya held several Positions such as the Director of H.H the Heir Apparent Office from 1979 up to 1989, Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1989 up to 1990. Chief of Diwan Amiri (Court) from 1995 up to 1999 and Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Heritage.
