Al-Mufair Village (Al-Shamal)
Al-Mufair Village (Al-Shamal) A small deserted village located in the Northern East of Qatar, 8 kms away from the east of Al-Ruwais. The houses are built of stones and mud and were inhabited by Al- Fudhala Family. The people of this village worked in Pearl diving and Fishing. In 1988 a part of the village was restored to be used as a set for the Qatari TV series (aldaloob). In 2006 The Restoration Departments of Qatar Museums Authority carried out some rapid restoration for the Asian Games torch relay.
