Al-Thaqab Castle (Al-Shamal) This castle dates back to the period between 17th and 19th C. It is located 110 kms away from the Western North of Doha. The castle is rectangular and is one of the desert castles. It is located on the coast of Qatar Peninsula. The castle was restored in 2003 by the direction of Restoration Departments.
