Qatar Museums Authority participates in Asia travel fair held in Singapore

24 October, 2009 – Four QMA staff members represented the organization at the ITB Asia travel trade show held in Singapore.  During their trip, the team met with several business executives, newspaper editors and tourism professionals from India, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Indonesia and other countries.

QMA’s participation in the ITB Asia trade show was in association with Qatar Tourism Authority.  The objective was to increase the organization’s presence in the Asian market and promote the Museum of Islamic Art as a prime tourist destination in the Middle East.  QMA’s team consisted of: Louise Cutajar, Lamya Al Marri, Fatma Al Naama and Haleema Ismail.
