Qatar Museums Authority takes part in global incentives exhibition in Spain

3 December, 2009 – Three QMA staff members represented the organization at The Global Meetings and Incentives Exhibition (EIBTM) held in Barcelona, Spain.  During their trip, the team met with several business executives, newspaper editors and tourism professionals from Hungary, Canada, Brazil, Germany, China, Turkey and other countries.

QMA’s participation in the EIBTM trade show was in association with Qatar Tourism Authority.  The objective was to increase the organization’s presence in the global travel market and promote the Museum of Islamic Art as a prime tourist destination in the Middle East.  QMA’s team consisted of: Diana Rizk, Bakita Al Merri and Jawaher Al Kurdi.
