On 5th April, Qatargas organized a gala dinner at the Museum of Islamic Art.  Hosted by HE Abdulla Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry, the event was held in celebration of the inauguration on April 6 of Qatargas 2, the world’s first and largest fully integrated value chain LNG project.

HRH the Duke of York was the guest of honor.  Other prominent guests included Mike O’Brien QC MP, the British Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change and senior officials from Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil, Total and Qatargas’ other international stakeholders.

Close to 350 invited guests attended the glittering event amidst the magnificent ambience of the museum’s atrium.
