Al-Mingla

a kind of gauntlet, which cover the hands, from wrists up to the elbows. Falconers used gauntlet to carry the birds on their hands.

Badjir

natural ventilation system.
Bughla
traditional ocean-going vessel of the Arabian Gulf that was used for all purposes, including pearl trading.
Baggara
It is a dhow with a ranked stem, tall pointed stem and a rudder head.
Diyin
Basket or net-bag for keeping the collected pearl oysters.
Fetam
Nose clips for diver.
Hayr
Oyster-bed (a place in the sea where oysters are available).
Houbara
Bustard bird. It is a strong bird, vigilant, with frightening looks.
Nool
a kind of wooden archit used for weaving tent.
Saluqi
a hunting dog.
Satoura
planked bowspirit of Boum (double ended boat).
Shmail
udder cover made by camel’s hair or wool.
Siyub
responsible persons for holding the life rope tied to the pearl diver.
Wabar
camel's hair.
Wakar the mushroom-shaped seat on which a hawk, sits with a spiked base for fixing in the send.
